4 of a King video slot game was developed by Endorphina and has a 5x3 reel with 10 configurable pay lines. If this is your first Endorphina game you will need to get used to the betting mechanic. Regardless, this is a simple video slot game with only 2 bonus features – expanding wilds and a risk game. You should get back approximately 96% of the funds you spend and the game has a medium win variance. You can enjoy this game and both desktop and mobile devices.
All betting is done using three settings:
1. Coin Denomination [Top left-hand corner]
2. Bets per line [Bottom left-hand corner]
3. Number of bet lines [Bottom right-hand corner]
You can adjust these settings in any order. All betting is done in coins and you can first choose the value of these coins. The three-coin denominations available are 0.05, 0.1, and 0.2. Once you’ve assigned a value, you can choose how many coins you want to bet per pay line. You have to bet a minimum of 1 coin per bet line, but you can bet up to a maximum of 10.
Next, you can choose how many pay lines you want to play with. You can choose anywhere between 1 – 10 pay lines. Depending on how many pay lines you have chosen, your total bet will be the number of coins bet per line multiplied by the number of pay lines. For example, if you choose to bet 5 coins per line with a total of 10 pay lines, you will be betting 50 coins per spin.
4 of a King is graphically a very basic video slot game, with the reel taking up most of the screen. The payout symbols and music are the most entertaining part of the game, with both sticking to an old casino theme. The upbeat piano music mutes itself if you stop playing for a while, but you can turn it off yourself in the top right-hand corner.
4 of a King has 7 payout symbols split between 3 high-value symbols and 4 low-value symbols. The low-value symbols are 4 different colour cards – blue, green, yellow, and red. The blue and green cards offer a maximum payout of 1,000 coins, while the red and yellow cards offer 2,000.
The highest paying symbols are the Dealer, Croupier, and Winner symbols. The Dealer and Croupier both offer the same payouts, while the Winner offers double them with a maximum payout of 10,000 coins. To earn the maximum payouts you need to combine 5 symbols; to earn the minimum payout you need to combine 3 symbols.
How to Read the Paytable
Open the ‘Menu’ and use the ‘Next’/’Back’ buttons to find the paytable. All of the values listed are the number of coins you will receive for a winning combination regardless of the coin denomination you have chosen. To figure out how much you actually won, you need to multiply the number of coins by your chosen coin denomination. For example, a 20 coin payout with a coin denomination of 0.1 means you receive a cash value of 2.
Expanding Wilds takes place when you land a Wild symbol in the middle position on reel 3. The wild symbol will expand to all adjacent symbols, resulting in a total of 9 positions.
Risk Game takes place whenever you land a winning combination. You can then gamble your winnings on a card prediction game. Choose a card higher than the dealer and you will win double your stake.
The Wild Symbol substitutes for all other symbols and also triggers the Expanding Wilds feature.
