How To Bet On Blackjack VIP by Platipus

At the start of the game, you can click on the coin button in the bottom left-hand corner to select from the 5, 10, 20, 50, and 100 bet options. You must then click on the bet spot at the bottom middle of the screen to place your bet. You can then click ‘deal’ to start the game.

The only other bet options available are ‘double’ and ‘insurance’. You can only double your bet when you have two cards. This will double the amount you initially bet and deal you one extra card. Once you have doubled your bet, your turn will end immediately after receiving your extra card. You can only make an ‘insurance’ bet if the dealer’s one face-up card is an ace. By paying 50% of your initial bet, you will be protected in the case of the dealer having blackjack. If the dealer does not have blackjack, your insurance wager will be lost and the game will continue like normal.

How To Win On Blackjack VIP by Platipus

There are two ways to win in Blackjack VIP:

Regular win – a regular win is the one that will occur most often and is based on the traditional rules of blackjack – the player with the higher hand wins. As long as you don’t go bust (over 21), if you have a higher valued hand than the dealer, you will win double your bet. If you happen to win by getting blackjack (an Ace and any 10-valued card) you will win 3:2.

Insurance win – Another way of winning is by taking out insurance. If when the cards are dealt, the dealer’s face-up card is an Ace, then you can take out insurance in the bottom right-hand corner. This prevents you from loss if the dealer actually has a blackjack. Once the dealer reveals his cards, if they did indeed have blackjack, you will be paid out 2:1 your original bet.

How to Play Blackjack VIP by Platipus

Blackjack VIP by Platipus is a game that you will understand very quickly and involves 3 game phases:

Betting Phase

In the beginning, you will need to place a bet. Once this is done you can click ‘deal’ in the bottom right-hand corner to start the game. You and the dealer will then receive your cards.

Decision Phase

At this point, you will need to decide how you want to proceed based on your hand and the dealer’s one face-up card. The options you have are ‘stand’ (end your turn), ‘double’ (double your initial bet and receive only one extra card), ‘hit’ (receive an extra card), ‘insurance’ (take out insurance against a possible dealer blackjack), or ‘split’ (if you have two of the same cards). You can hit as many times as you like, but as soon as your hand goes over 21 you are ‘bust’ which means you lose immediately. If you have two of the same cards and decide to ‘split’, your cards will be split into two hands, each with the same bet you placed initially, which you will then play individually against the dealer.

Reveal Phase

If you don’t go bust, you will need to click ‘stand’ to end your turn once you are happy with your cards. The dealer’s turn will then commence and a winner will be decided. If you and the dealer have the same valued hand, the game will ‘push’ and you will receive your bet back with no winnings.
